Hi reader
how's it feeling to have made it to December? I know we haven't quite made it to the end of the year but I'm running right along side you and cheering for you. I see you and I know you deserve a restful break. Just the home straight to go.
It's the time of year many of us are juggling multiple things. It can be mentally and physically exhausting. Now more than ever self care is important. The last useletter asked "How might this be more generous?" Over this period don't forget to ask yourself a similar question, How might you be more generous to yourself reader? Remember being generous to yourself is generous to those around you too. So make the time for yourself.
This fortnight, I have a question for you to ruminate on as we head into a new year...

what does success look like?
I know, right now it probably feels like just getting to the end of the year feels like success. Amen to that! This is not a question for right now...
I ask the question, not to cajole you into instant deep reflection. Instead, think of it as a seed. Planted now, to germinate and bloom over the Christmas & New Year break, as you make time to daydream.
[Make space for daydreaming - here's an article, among many, discussing the benefits.]
Make the time to expand your thinking around success and what that might look like in all possible forms. Be intentional, ambitious and unqualified in your thinking. Write it down. When you envisage this success, ask yourself what did you do to achieve it? Write that down. You now have a plan for your new year.
Note: many people are vague and too modest in their thinking. Be specific, shoot for the stars and work backwards from there.
You can now start your new year with the end in mind.

There’s two main ways to stand out. Be different. or Be better. Copying is the route to unexceptional.
