They stand out despite the feeling that different might be risky.
Architectural practices

most copy each other.
Avoiding being different.
Too risky.
It’s probably unsustainable.
At university, we learn from architects.
In the workplace we’re lead by architects.
Architecture is feeding itself on the old conventions.
Instead of seeking out new ones.
It’s notable how few leaders aren’t architects in the largest architecture practices in Australia.
